Cambodia Earned Nearly 470 Million USD from Export of Rubber in First 11 Months of 2022

Phnom Penh: In the first 11 months of 2022, Cambodia earned nearly $470 million USD from the export of natural rubber latex and rubber wood to foreign markets, has earned more than 465 million USD from natural rubber latex exports and more than 3.8 million USD from rubber wood exports.

According to the report of the General Department of Rubber, in the first 11 months of 2022, Cambodia exported more than 320,000 tons of rubber, an increase of more than 9,000 tons (19 percent) compared to the same period last year. The price of rubber was $1,231 USD per tonne in November, down $31 USD per tonne compared to the previous year.

The export of rubber wood in the first 11 months of this year was more than 240,000 cubic meters. As of November, there were more than 400,000 hectares of rubber plantations, including more than 310,000 hectares has been harvest accounting for 78 percent, and nearly 90,000 hectares is in the process of maturing.
